We encourage you to file a protest on our Online Protest Portal or file a written protest and deliver by mail or in our mail slot at the GCAD office before the deadline. If you choose to file an online protest,
Please DO NOT file a paper protest.
If we cannot resolve any issues upon receiving your protest, your case will be set for a hearing before the Appraisal Review Board (ARB). You will receive written notice of the time, date, and place of the hearing.
The deadline to file a protest is May 15th, 2023.
You may register and file your online protest by visiting our website at www.graysonappraisal.org and clicking on the “Online Protest” tab located on the upper right-hand side of the home page. You will need your Property ID# and your Owner ID# which will be used for your PIN# and are both located on your Notice of Appraised Value.
The Grayson Central Appraisal District will attempt to resolve all E-Protests prior to the hearing. In the event your protest is not resolved prior to your scheduled hearing date then your attendance will be necessary in order to formally protest before the Appraisal Review Board.
It is important to file your protest before the deadline which is May 15th, 2023.
