Board of Directors Election

The 88th Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 2 during the 2023 session, which, among other things, expands the size of an appraisal district’s Board of Directors from six members to nine members. These additional three members will be decided by a public election scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024. Their term will run from July 1, 2024, until December 31, 2026.

The Texas Secretary of State has issued an Election Advisory to inform the public of the particulars, which can be found at the bottom of this page.
